A breast uplift reshapes breasts and modifies the appearance of breasts that have changed over time. The skin loses elasticity through age, weight fluctuations, following pregnancy and breast feeding. A breast uplift improves firmness and provides a more youthful shape and fuller breast. Breast uplift surgery involves lifting and changing the shape of the breasts. The surgery takes approximately 2-3 hours and as with breast reduction surgery, excess tissue and skin are removed. More commonly a breast uplift is performed alongside breast augmentation surgery.
