Breast augmentation or breast enlargement, involves using breast implants to increase the size and improve the shape of the breasts. Breast implants can be used for asymmetry, to improve sagging after weight loss or pregnancy and to improve self-confidence.

It is the most common type of cosmetic surgery. Breast augmentation surgery involves inserting silicone gel implants. The surgery takes approximately 60-90 minutes. An incision is made and the implant is positioned between the breast tissue and chest muscle or behind the chest muscle.

Yes, generally there are no problems when breast feeding with implants, however breast feeding can alter the shape of the breast and volume may be lost.
A post surgical/sports bra will be provided and needs to be worn following the procedure for 4-6 weeks.
We advise waiting 5-7 days before resuming gentle activity and 4-6 weeks before returning to normal activity and light exercise. Strenuous exercise and sport should be avoided for 8-12 weeks. Avoid heavy lifting, such as toddlers for the first 2 weeks.
We advise waiting 7-10 days before driving again.
